Going into the sweet 16, I had a chance of getting 7 out of games correct. And, on Thursday, it looked like I might jut pull it off. I got 3 of 4, and the one I missed was the one I couldn’t get right. Plus, 2 of my final 4 were still alive. I might just be able to salvage this bracket yet.
Then Friday occurrs, and it all goes downhill. I missed 3 out of 4, lost 2 final four teams and the eventual champion. I now can only get 3 more games correct (two of which are today). So, this may possibly be my worst bracket ever.
On a side note, as sad as I was to see WKU lose Thursday, overall, I was quite proud of what they accomplished. They fought hard, and made quite a comeback against UCLA. It’s tough for a team like WKU, because whenever they have any success like this, a power conference school comes in and grabs thier coach, meaning we have to start over. And, already, it looks as though Darrin Horn may be on his way out, with his name linked to the South Carolina job.
