One of the greats, Bo Diddley, passed away today. So, this week, only he will be added to the rankings, at number 6. Also, embedded are 2 videos, one of him performing “Road Runner,” and the second being the classic, “Bo, you don’t know diddley” commercials by Nike from the late 80s/early 90s.

So, last night was Scrubs’ series finale that wasn’t really a finale because they are going to be on ABC next year. I was really upset during the strike when there was talk that no finale may be produced. The finale was a decent episode, but not a good finale. Which I guess they were [...]

My buddy Danny Osterhout and I both really hate creed. However, Creedence is one of my favorite bands. I don’t like puns, but that didn’t stop me from making the joke, “We should play some Creed . . . ence.” It was never funny, but I always laughed. So, the updated rankings:
2. Creedence Clearwater Revival
15. [...]

For those of you who have ever gotten the email from the deposed prince of the Congo, you will find this amusing.

Rush Limbaugh has clearly lost it. Riots in Denver. Remember, though, he’s not trying to encite you to riot, he’s just reminding you that it is your patriotic duty to do so.

As has been well documented over the years, child stars have a difficult time transitioning into adulthood. Some make it okay, but many have trouble. Part of it, I think, is that they have to “grow up” before a child should have to grow up. In the end, they miss out on some key moments [...]

I have a lot I want to write about, but it’s a busy day, so instead, I give you this post from October 9, 2006.

I feel like writing again. Hoperfully, the feeling will stick for a while.
Anyway, I’m walking through Clifton during the early afternoon hours, and I notice a car that has the license [...]

So, the first music monday controversy occurred with last weeks rankings. Jenny T asks why I would rank ABBA over Fiona Apple. From this point forward, I will just answer these questions by making fun of the artist in question, but this time, I thought I would give a little insight into basic [...]

First, 24’s season gets postponed till next year. Now, 2 more of my favorite shows DO return, and it’s quite a disappointment. Yes, The Office finally returns last night after a 4 month hiatus, and it was well, mediocre at best. Unfortunately, that’s been the case all season long. I wondered, if after the end [...]

So, I’ve actually managed to keep my gimmick going for 3 weeks now. And, I realized something . . . this list won’t be all that interesting for a while. Not until it builds up a bit. So, this week is a bonus week, where I add not 2, not 3, or not even 4 [...]

Yesterday, NBC confirmed that they are greenlighting a spinoff of “The Office.” However, other details are not yet available. In fact, they do not even have a premise for the new show yet, just a commitment from Greg Daniels that it will be quality. So, while it’s on the schedule, if the creative team can’t [...]

First off, I just want to say that on occasion, Maxim magazine has some well-written, interesting articles. Some of which I even enjoy. This makes sense, with it being a men’s magazine and I being a man.
But, I’m not always part of their target demographic. The truth is, so much of their magazine is geared [...]

Back on my old blog, I wrote a brief, “humorous” post about an alternate universe. In that universe, Creed was a really good band. I then speculated that I would be a “ladies man” in such a universe.
I’ve put some more serious though to what “Bizarro Eric” might be like. The “Bizarro Universe” is something [...]
